You should buy an Android if…- You want to have more control over your hardware. iPhones can only be repaired by Apple personnel, and any other activity can void the warranty. If you have an Android phone, you have much more flexibility regarding replacing batteries, installing apps, and using tech support from your service provider instead of from a third-party company.
- You want to be able to use any phone carrier. iPhone is only available through AT&T and Verizon, whereas the Android can be used with nearly any cell phone provider. Additionally, Android is part of the 4G network, offering greater speed than is available on iPhone.
- You want more variety. While iPhones are consistent, Droid phones come in a variety of models, each with unique sizes and options. You have more customization options for the hardware on your phone, and the OS is more flexible.
